At Natwikatane, we believe that the power of peer support can bridge the gaps that mental health challenges often create. Gaps that the clinical model alone cannot bridge. Our group stands as a beacon of hope, dedicated to offering peer support that’s grounded in the core values of peer support.
Through comprehensive anti-stigma training, we empower our members to become mental health champions for change and raise awareness in their communities. We offer a safe space for psychosocial support, where individuals can openly express their thoughts and feelings without judgment.
Storytelling is at the heart of Natwikatane. Sharing lived experiences fosters a profound sense of connection, reminding us that we’re never alone in our struggles. Workplace Mental Health
A comprehensive and personalized approach to promoting mental well-being in the workplace. Mentally Unsilenced recognizes the importance of a healthy and happy workforce, and we believe that addressing mental health is essential to achieving this goal. Our program is designed to educate, support and empower employees and employers to prioritize their mental health and provide them with the tools and resources they need to manage stress, improve their resilience, and maintain a positive work-life balance. We believe that investing in the mental health of employees not only benefits employees but also promotes a more productive, engaged, and inclusive workplace culture. We focus on the 13 factors that have been shown to impact individuals’ mental health in the workforce.
Our team is comprised of trained and experienced professionals who understand the unique challenges faced by individuals with ADHD and those dealing with workplace stress and mental health issues. Our coaches are registered with the International Association of Therapists (IAOT). The peer support groups are founded on the core values of peer support. Our peer facilitators are well trained and accredited to work in diverse settings with diverse populations. Our peer facilitators have lived experiences and this enhances connection with the group.
